ZestLens is a fruit measurement app for citrus growers, operated from Türkiye ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. It applies to the ZestLens iOS app and the zestlens.app service.

What we collect

Account data: your name, e-mail address, your company name and your role. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
Captures: photos of fruit, the matching LiDAR depth data, camera parameters and the time of capture.
Location: the precise GPS position of each capture and, while the app is open, your position on the map. Location is used only to assign captures to your orchard blocks; the app does not track you in the background.
Orchard data: block boundaries, cultivars, tree counts, bloom dates, caliper entries, the names of scouts and pickers you type in, and corrections you make to defect suggestions.
Technical data: device model, app language, IP address and security logs (sign-in attempts) to protect your account.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: measuring fruit, generating your reports and PDFs, keeping your account secure, and providing support. Photos are analysed on our own servers with locally-run AI models. We do not use third-party AI services, we do not sell or rent your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Who can see your data

Each company's data is stored in a separate database on our servers. Only members of your company account can access it, according to the roles your company's administrator assigns. We disclose data to authorities only when required by law. Our network provider (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) transmits encrypted traffic but does not store your content. Account and newsletter emails are sent through Apple (iCloud Mail) or Google (Gmail). Because these providers operate servers outside Türkiye, using them involves an international transfer of personal data.

Where and how long

Data is stored on servers operated by us in Türkiye and transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). We keep it for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete my account), your account is removed immediately; if you are the last member of your company, all of the company's data — blocks, photos, reports — is deleted as well. A company administrator can delete the whole company at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK Law No. 6698) you can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.

If you subscribe to ZestLens Insights on zestlens.app, we store your email address, the site language you used and the time you confirmed. We send a confirmation email first and add you only after you click its link (double opt-in). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address immediately. We do not share the list, and we do not track opens or clicks. Emails are delivered through our email providers (Apple iCloud Mail; Google Gmail as a fallback).

İşlenen veriler ve amaçlar: Hesap verileri (ad, e-posta, şirket, rol), çekimler (fotoğraf, LiDAR derinlik verisi, kamera parametreleri, zaman), kesin konum, bahçe verileri (parsel sınırları, çeşit, ağaç sayısı, girdiğiniz gözlemci ve toplayıcı adları), teknik veriler (cihaz modeli ve adı, dil, IP adresi, giriş denemeleri) ve bülten için e-posta adresi; meyve ölçümü, rapor üretimi, hesap güvenliği ve destek amacıyla.

Hukuki sebepler: Hizmetin sunulması için zorunlu veriler KVKK md. 5/2-c (sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifası); güvenlik kayıtları meşru menfaat (md. 5/2-f); bülten e-postaları ise çift onaylı açık rızanız (md. 5/1) kapsamında işlenir. Rızanızı her e-postadaki bağlantıyla geri alabilirsiniz.

Toplama yöntemi: Uygulama ve zestlens.app üzerinden elektronik ortamda, kısmen otomatik olarak.

Aktarım: Veriler Türkiye’deki sunucularımızda tutulur. İletim Cloudflare, Inc. (ABD) altyapısı üzerinden, e-postalar Apple veya Google üzerinden yapılır; bu hizmetler yurt dışında bulunduğundan yurt dışına aktarım söz konusudur (KVKK md. 9). Şirket hesabınızdaki diğer üyeler, yöneticinin verdiği rollere göre verilere erişir. Yasal zorunluluk hâlinde yetkili kamu kurumlarıyla paylaşılabilir. Veriler satılmaz.

Saklama: Hesap verileri hesabınız var oldukça; hesabı sildiğinizde derhal silinir. Bülten kaydı aboneliği iptal edene kadar tutulur.

Haklarınız (KVKK md. 11): Kişisel verinin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme; işlenmişse bilgi talep etme; işlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme; yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme; eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme; md. 7 çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme; bu işlemlerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme; otomatik analiz sonucu aleyhinize bir sonuca itiraz etme; zararın giderilmesini talep etme. Başvurular [email protected] adresine yapılır ve en geç 30 gün içinde ücretsiz yanıtlanır (md. 13); Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu’na şikâyet hakkınız saklıdır (md. 14).

ZestLens is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
